Waheeda Rehman was born on February 3, 1938, and is considered one of Bollywood’s most graceful actresses. She entered Hindi cinema in the 1950s and quickly gained recognition for her talent and elegance.

She starred in classics such as Pyaasa (1957), Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), Guide (1965), and Khamoshi (1969). Her performance in Guide remains one of the finest portrayals by an Indian actress.

She has received numerous honors, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her lifetime contribution to cinema.
